Marketing beneficiaries’ products is a settled policy of
SFD to implement this policy SFD.
Fairs & Exhibition Dept. was established in 1993 and during 1998 marketing activities was added to the department.
During this period we participated in 76 local events, the beneficiaries achieve a sales figure of 79 Million Egyptian Pound (22.5 Million U.S $) and also participated in 51 International events in which a sales figure of 64 Million Egyptian Pound (18.3 Million U.S $) was achieved.
As follows the department activity during the year 1999:
1- In 1999 SFD participated in 12 fairs & exhibition abroad in Africa, Asia and
Europe. Those Fairs & Exhibition realizing a sales figure of six million Egyptian
Pound (1.75 Million US $) as direct sales and through contracts.
SFD participated in 15 local Fairs & Exhibitions all over Egypt and recorded a
sales figure of 28 Million Egyptian Pound (8.2 Million U.S $) during those events.
2- By providing a marketing information about several markets, and specialized data regarding the exporting fields, SFD (through Marketing & exhibition Dept.) succeeded to help beneficiaries to conclude about 29 export contracts in different countries amounting to 12 Million Egyptian Pound (3.5 Million US $).
3- Supporting the beneficiaries in their contacts with all the potential distributors locally or internationally and SFD succeeded to support them in concluded a deal with Egypt
Air to display their products in all the Free-shops in different Egyptian Airports.

Introducing project data in SFD Web Sites on the Internet, and entering data of 500 projects in several sites (under study) to help them in marketing their products through E-commerce system.
